Welcome to our office! We have a friendly, yet professional setting where you and your child can count on getting the highest quality care.As you make the turn into Overlook Park (click here to see the map) and continue up the hill, you will see Dr. Deb and Dr. Diane's state-of-the-art office. As you walk through the front doors, you will see our front desk and meet warm, friendly appointment coordinators, ready to assist you. Upon arriving to our office, please log in on our check-in computer. This will let everyone in the office know that you have arrived. We take pride in staying on time, so if you ever wait longer than 10 minutes beyond your scheduled appointment time, please check with an appointment coordinator to make sure that we know you are here. After checking in, please take a minute to brush your teeth at our toothbrushing station. We provide all of our patients with a disposable toothbrush and toothpaste to use at each visit. You will then return to the reception room. Our reception area was designed with our patients in mind. We offer XBOX 360 and Playstation. Our gourmet coffee and tea station is for your enjoyment. Take a close look and you will see yearbooks from area high schools, a "kudos binder"singing our praises, a suggestion box, and various magazine selections for every taste and age. We want the experience at Dr. Deb and Dr. Diane's to be comfortable for not only the patients, but also for their parents and families.Check our ‘Smile Board'on the wall in our reception room, too! We've partnered with a local photographer, Bonnie St. Pierre, who will take a free 8x10 photo of our new orthodontic graduates. We will proudly display your beautiful smile for about eight weeks and then mail it to you! She does amazing work! Visit her web site, www.bstpierrestudio.com and see for yourself! At your first visit, our Treatment Coordinator and our Records Technician will work together to obtain a panoramic x-ray and a full set of digital images in our records room, which will allow Dr. Deb and Dr. Diane to provide each of our patients with a comprehensive and specific diagnosis. Across from our records room, is our lab. This is where our trained technicians make your study models and appliances. Having an in-office lab in addition to working with a local outside lab, allows us to better control the quality of our appliances and how quickly we can deliver them to our patients. As you continue on the office tour, you will see that our treatment area has an open concept. This allows for efficient treatment in a non-threatening environment. It is very comforting to young patients to see other children their own age enjoying their experience in our office right in the next chair. Parents are always invited to accompany their child throughout the office. Our orthodontic assistants are state certified and are highly qualified to perform the treatment prescribed by the doctors. At every appointment, they are very involved with communicating treatment rendered and reviewing instructions. Our treatment area is supported by our state-of-the-art sterilization area. We never recycle products. We use disposable items whenever available, and follow strict sterilization guidelines for the safety of our patients. We sincerely hope you enjoy your visits with us! Scheduling Appointments8:00 am - 9:00 am — Prime Time9:00 am - 2:00 pm — Non-Prime Time 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm — Prime Time Doctor Time SchedulingOur schedule is carefully crafted to ensure that every patient's appointment is supervised and directed by a doctor. In this way, you can be certain that you will receive the highest quality care at every appointment. Why Prime Time?90% of our patients either work or attend school, and prefer not to miss work or school for their orthodontic visits. For this reason we reserve hours before and after work and school (shown above as PRIME TIME) to accommodate as many patients as possible. Scheduling AppointmentsDue to the nature of orthodontics, regular visits at specific intervals are required for efficient progress. Therefore, we recommend scheduling your next visit prior to leaving the office. Appointments during PRIME TIME are shorter for appliance checks, short wire changes and progress check-ups. It is necessary to schedule longer appointments during NON-PRIME TIME for placing and removing braces, long wire changes, repairs and emergencies. If you have several questions or want to come in at a quieter time, we suggest an appointment between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. If the patient is a student, these appointments can be arranged during study period, lunchtime, and recess. Unfortunately, we are unable to schedule all appointments after school. Late For an AppointmentSometimes our patients are late due to traffic, etc. We will always try to accommodate you, should the schedule permit. However, it may be in the patient's best interests to reschedule the appointment –we will work with you to find an alternate time. Rescheduling AppointmentsWe realize that once in awhile, unforeseen circumstances arise that necessitate a change in appointments, or cause you to overlook an appointment However, since most patients have scheduled their next appointment in advance, we stongly encourage you to call our office as soon as possible in the event that you need to reschedule. All changed or missed appointments should be rescheduled within two to three weeks of the original appointment. Our office will make every attempt to help you. Please do not wait several weeks for another "attractive" PRIME TIME appointment. We would be happy to alert you of openings in our schedule if you would like to be placed on our "Quick Call"list. Simply let us know the times and dates which work best for you. During treatment, it is very important that we monitor progress regularly. Our appointment policy was developed in an effort to give everyone the very best service. We are always available for questions or comments, and greatly appreciate your feedback. Appointment Reminders House CallsHouseCalls is a system which uses a doctor's voice to confirm all appointments. This system uses our existing computer data in combination with modern voice technology. If you are not interested in receiving a confirmation call at home, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will remove your name from the call list. We hope you find this system helpful. OrthoSesameOrthoSesame is a web-enabled software program that allows our patients to receive email reminders about their upcoming appointments. It also allows you to check your account balance, and print a financial history for your records - all from the convenience of your home, at any time. To be able to access your account, please enroll in this free service at our OrthoSesame laptop. Once you have enrolled, you will receive log-in information via email. Just think, you'll have 24 hour, secure access to your information at your fingertips! |
